Library on Monday!

In Social Studies today we looked at Tourism in Canada - people love to see new things!  In Iqaluit, tourists love to see the floe edge.  In Meteghan, there are many colourful boats in the harbour.  In Saskatoon, people visit the Beaver Creek Conservation Area to learn about nature.  What places do you like to take people in our community?

In Social Studies today, we learned the term goods.  Goods are things we make or produce, buy and sell.  Students worked in small groups to find examples of goods produced in their communities.  Some examples were bread & canola oil in Saskatoon, soapstone sculptures & selling fish in Iqaluit, and boats & houses in Meteghan.  What goods can't you live without?
