A very urgent town meeting was called for all fisherman!! Fisherman Becker, from Meteghan, spoke of the devastation all fisherman were faced with after the HUGE winter storm that hit the coast last year. All of the boats in the marina have been destroyed and the local boat maker can not keep up to replace all of the boats! All the fisherman were challenged to build their own boats in order to maintain their livelihood. To keep up with the demand for fresh fish, the boats need to float, carry a load (fish) and move safely back to the harbour (propel). Students will be working on a Project Based Assignment to complete this challenge.
