'Olive' 2S ate frog eyeballs!

This afternoon was Tasty Tuesday.  Thank you to Mrs. Hugh for providing the ingredients for our Frog Sandwiches. Almost all students tried the frog eyeballs (some enjoyed it, others said they would never try one again)

Math - Subtraction to 100
·         Use personal strategies for subtracting
·         Subtracting a one digit number from a two digit number using: algorithm method, manipulatives and an open number line with regrouping
·         Subtracting a two digit number from a two digit number using: algorithm method, manipulatives and an open number line with regrouping
·         Create and solve problems that involve subtraction
·         Explain that the order in which numbers are subtracted may affect the difference

Science - Small Crawling and Flying Animals
·         Recognize that there are many types of small crawling and flying animals
·         Compare and contrast animals found in local habitat
·         Recognize that small animals have homes
·          Identify each animal's role within the food chain
·          Describe the role of small animals to other living and non-living things
·         Describe how small animals are helpful or harmful to the environment
