In Social Studies today we began Unit 2: Looking At People. We will be learning about the Inuit, Acadian and Ukrainian cultures. As a culminating activity, students are asked to complete an at home Cultural Festival Assignment. More details will be sent home with your child on Friday.
Culture is very diverse in Canada. Discuss with your child, if possible, your family's culture. For example, do you speak a different language at home? Have any family traditions that you continue? Celebrate by attending any special feasts or celebrations?
