In Math today, we used a measuring tape to measure the distance around a variety of objects. It was interesting to see the differences/similarities between the distance around our heads and wrists. We were surprised to learn how close the measurement of an adult's head was to the measurements of a child's head. Apparently, the head has reached 96% of its size by the time we are 10 years old!!!
The Social Studies Cultural Assignment was not sent home today, I will send it home next week. There is nothing that needs to be sent in at this time, we have just been discussing the different cultures in our classroom and the Inuit culture, so far.
